Cruise: Day 4

We woke up early this morning to eat some breakfast before we head to Princess Cays. We ate some great food then Jason and I had to go to the front of the ship to get a ticket to board the ferry as Sunshine couldn't get close to the shore. We were zone 26, so once it was called we were able to board the boat and let me say it was really rockin. Before going to shore my cousin missy bought her a couple of hanging water bottle necklaces for $6. Thing 1 sold it to her.

Ferry to take us to Princess Cay

Once we got on the Island, the beauty it held was wonderful. We did some shopping first as the stores are there first thing. This is where you want to buy your gifts as they are really cheap there on almost everything. We got us a couple of shirts for $20.00. We had already reserved us some chairs for us and Missy and Jason . Here is the video of us walking to find the chairs.

You can see how beautiful this place is. This is, so far, my most favorite spot to go to. The water was as clear as glass and you could see the fish swimming with you. It was rocky there as well but not all the way. I did remeber to bring my water shows this time.

We got our chairs and got settled in before Jason and I went and got in the water. It was cold at first but you got use to it fast.

So Jason and I went and got into the water, he had his crocs on and I had my watershoes on before going in as it was rocky.

Missy and I had also reserved us some water bikes to paddle out in the ocean with. Just like a paddle boat but it was a bike. This is the first time I have ever seen these. But they were fun but the current would take you out far if you didn't watch out.

After we got done doing the bikes we walked back to our chairs and i found out they were serving free dinner. So missy went and set down and I went and got us some food. They had chicken and rice, salads, Hamburgers, Hotdogs. And drinks as well. Once we got done eating we decided to do a little more shopping before heading back onboard.

They did have a live band that played on the island while we were there they were pretty good but did not get their names.

So we got back on the ferry boats which took us back to the ship. We got back on the ship and again went and took a shower and changed clothes and got something to eat.

While we were sitting and eating there came an announcement over the intercome.

"This is your captain speaking, blah, blah blah blah blahblah blah"

He was so are to understand as I think he is from Italy, but the cruise director came on to tell us what the announcement was.

"This is Sara T, due to inclement weather due in Norfolk on the day we are suppose to be docking we have decided that we are not going to Grand Turk, instead we are heading home to try to beat the bad snow storm."

So the one island we was really looking forward to is not going to be on our stop. We had noticed that we were going back north after we got going from Princess Cay. So now we know why. We were so dissapointed. So, we decided that we would take in the spa section of the ship where they steam rooms, heated lounge chairs etc were.

After eating we played a few games of skyjo with missy and Jason and missy won. We got some pizza and some ice cream while we played. We decided that we were going to turn in for the night. Our next two days are day at sea for us.
