Pikeville flooding

Our little town got hit by some major flooding just after Valentine’s Day 2025. May people lost everything homes and such. Captain ds where we work seen the highest rise ever in our side of the river as it is behind our drive thru.

Missy and I didn’t have anywhere to go and all the hotels weee booked so we decided we were going to stay at work as we needed to be there the next morning. At 11:30 pm we were told to evacuate somewhere else due to water rising fast. We went to our friends apartment in town where one of our employees was staying. We got up early next morning to see what all had happened. The water hard gotten up to our drive thru menu speaker and that’s it. Below are a few pictures I took of the river that was the highest I have ever seen.
